Tracy Fletcher’s boyfriend Adam has just proposed and Tracy is on Cloud Nine. Her friends and family, however, do not share in her enthusiasm and are completely against her marrying this “loser” as they often refer to him. In defiance, Tracy accepts the proposal until her parents throw down a deal: To go stay with a close friend of the family who owns a hotel in the beautiful state of Maine. The condition is that she leaves Adam behind and takes some time to think the proposal through. If she still wants to marry him; they would not stand in the way. Jumping at the opportunity for a vacation too, her friends persuade her to go since they would be accompanying her. Tracy takes the deal despite Adam’s protests and she reassures him that if their love is strong enough, then she’ll still want to be with him.

Tracy and her two closest friends, Brian and Sheila, venture off to Maine to meet Tracy’s mother’s friend who happens to have a son about their age. But little do they know that there have been vicious murders in the area where the murderer kills victims who are married or engaged only to chop off their wedding fingers and take them, along with their rings, as souvenirs of his twisted behavior.

Upon arrival, Tracy meets Hunter, the son of her mother’s friend who co-owns the hotel, and his best friend Zachary who falls in instant love with Tracy. But things are not as they seem. Hunter has a troubled past with Zachary who had both loved the same woman but she was murdered. Now it appears as though history may repeat itself as trouble brews and Tracy finds herself falling in love too and re-thinking her engagement to Adam…until Adam shows up unexpectedly to surprise her. Tracy finds herself in a tangled, twisted love triangle while the murder is getting closer to home and it is Tracy who will soon find herself in danger of the worst kind as it is rumored that the murders are taking place at the hands of an unrested spirit who seeks vengeance. Now Tracy and her friends must find out who is committing these heinous crimes as they lose one of their own and are next on the victims’ list.

A deceased husband, a jealous twin, a grieving widow and a lovesick best friend all reunite in a Connecticut estate transformed into a B&B to try to live as the family they once were before the loss of their precious John Baptiste due to an \“accidental\” drowning. But too many ghosts of the past haunt their lives and their home. And it is up to this family to determine if their imaginations are working overtime or if perhaps their beloved John’s spirit lurks the premises urgently warning them of a deeper evil that exits within the household; a malevolence that none of them ever saw approaching.

Evil takes on many forms, but Autumn Baptiste never thought it would take the form of a ghost, let alone her deceased husband’s ghost. She never believed in any supernatural hogwash. But upon moving back home to her Victorian home in Connecticut that she and her husband formed a life in together, she isn’t quite sure. Autumn falls in love with her husband’s best friend, Demetrius who also shares in the commonality of a lost spouse, and the two are finally ready to put the past behind and move forward. But something or someone won’t allow it. Evil lurks in the shadows of their home causing bizarre happenings to take place. Could it just be their fear of moving on causing their imaginations to work overtime? Or could there be some truth to what many believe is John’s spirit seeking desperately to warn them of a danger that is hidden right under their noses that none of them would have ever fathomed existed.

“Great novel! I was hooked from the first page and was sad when it ended. It’s hard to put down. I was fascinated by the characters, description of the places and the dialogue. It made me fall in love with reading all over again and the whole season of autumn has new meaning to me now. I can’t wait for the sequel.”

The power of words is so strong that we often take it for granted. Words can communicate emotions, thoughts, dreams, goals and just about anything we want to convey to others. And though there are feelings that can simply never be put into words to describe how powerful they are, it is still the impact of the written word that gets the message across. Poetry is that expression of those feelings put into words, resulting in a beautiful creation of mind, body, and soul. Thus, this book, Whispers in the Breeze, is written to express emotions we can all relate to, which in turn, allows us to share the common bond we call humanity.

“These poems made me laugh, cry, relate, and warmed my heart. It's great to know there are others out there experiencing the same emotions and thoughts as I do. Loved it! I hope this author makes another book of poems.”

“I am not a literary genius, but I know what I like. "Cultures Colliding" was a really good read. There have been only 2 books that I have read where I couldn't wait to read more and more. I am just sorry that I got to the end of the story. This story was very enlightening, and it really opened my eyes to things that I have forgotten or just blocked off from my mind for many years. I really enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to reading more and more from this author. Nice job Chrissy!!”

Somewhere Out There is an absorbing, dramatic story of a girl who is seeking love and who ultimately finds it in her complex world. The plight of the main characters is typical of many people caught in the web of an unhappy environment. The book contains sex, crime, and glamour in a story that hardly stops for breath. Highly recommended as an entertaining and provocative novel, one that will titillate the palate in its portrayal of young people adjusting to life.

“The author Chrissy Yacoub in her book SOMEWHERE OUT THERE is some fresh new material for the devoted romantic. Or even if you're not, it doesn’t matter, you've got to read it. Her material combines real life places with real complex emotions of relationships which encompass a variety of characters. Her attention to detail, sights, sounds, etc. is fascinating given how new the author is to the industry. Watch out Steven King, the world of the Romantics are coming back. But don't take my word for it, SEE FOR YOURSELF!!”

“Somewhere Out There is a very human book revealing the struggles and passions of human desires. I was able to relate to many of the pains the characters' went through and it doesn't attempt to hide the weak points of humans. Even the heroine commits a severe sin, which is why I liked it because she isn't perfect like many heroes and heroines are portrayed, but rather she is human and just as susceptible to sin as any of us. Great book!”

“This book is great for a night of reading. It keeps you guessing and makes you feel the character's pain and happiness. It's a book that everyone can relate to.”
